Prime Minister Imran Khan has a credit on his account for mobilising country’s youth that makes more than 50 per cent of country’s total population during 2018 election with a promise to empower them economically.
In 2019, the day came when he launched Kamyab Jawan Program to unleash the potential of young Pakistan by providing the ambitious youth resources both in terms of technical and financial assistance.
The Kamyab Jawan Program was well-received by youth as so far ten thousand loans worth Rs8 billion has been issued to the youth. This was revealed by Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Usman Dar, who is leading the program, in a tweet a day earlier.
The government intends to facilitate as many as one million young people under the Kamyab Jawan program.
Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES!)
Under this scheme of Kamyab Jawan, youth can apply for loans upto Rs25 million in three tiers. The process is simple as applicants just need to access kamyabjawan.gov.pk where they can apply for the loan by completing nine steps.
Hunarmand Pakistan Program “Skills for All
The premier has launched the project under Kamyab Jawan Program to equip youth with various skills, including high tech professional skills, which will help them in earning money.
The project is being carried out with the coordination of National Vocational and Technical Training Commission and various universities.

Green Youth Movement
Green Youth Movement (GYM) is one of the flagship initiatives of Kamyab Jawan Programme. It is yet to be launched by the government.
Under this program, Pakistani youth is offered small grants to bring eco-innovative solutions for tackling environmental and climate crises like water conversation, solid waste management and others.
A network of GYM clubs will be established in around 110 HEC-recognized public sector universities Young eco-innovators will be mentored and their innovations will be marketed both nationally and internationally.
National Internship Program
One of the key objectives of PTI government is Youth empowerment.
To achieve this, it is important to address the issue of unemployment of youth in Pakistan. This internship program is aimed at improving the employability of educated youth, said the official website.

Startup Pakistan Under Kamyab Jawan
The program has been launched to facilitate youth in launch of their own business setups.
This program is developed for first-time entrepreneurs to provide a good view of the path ahead to establish their business. This program also builds a basic foundation of practical knowledge on entrepreneurship and its socio-economic impact.
The first phase of the project has been closed and its next phase will be announced soon.
