In connection with 74th Independence celebrations, a 30 feet long and 64 feet wide green crescent flag has been hung on Alhamra building. Independence Day will be celebrated across the country and anywhere in the world, where Pakistani community resides, with traditional zeal and enthusiasm.
Independence commemorative ceremonies begin with the start of August nationwide, and all-important buildings and monumental sights across the country are decorated with buntings and lights to celebrate August 14.
Information Officer Lahore Arts Council Samreen Bukhari, in connection with 14th August celebrations, said that Alhamra is determined to celebrate Pakistan s 74th Independence Day and for that LAC is in its full swing despite current COVID situation.
Executive Director Lahore Arts Council, Saman Rai said that Independence is a great blessing, and August 14 is a very important milestone in the history of the Pakistani nation. Considering this day, Alhamra aims sincerely wish to protect our e country, and for that, we must fulfil our responsibilities. She further said that in the field of art and culture Alhamra is playing an important role in highlighting the beautiful identity of the country and the nation, LAC is second to none in incorporating good values in social attitudes. Along with whole nation Lahore Arts Council will also celebrate Independence with full zeal and zest because remembering such a day is a sign of the living nations, she added.
