Independence Day at Lahore Arts Council was celebrated with great zeal and zest. The celebration started with the flag ceremony and prayers for the Country’s prosperity at Alhamra Art Centre, the Mall.
The ceremony was attended by Executive Director Farhat Jabeen, Director Art and Culture Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi, Deputy Director Admn Aftab Ahmed Ansari, staff members, and other visitors.
At the celebrations, many people, especially children dressed in white and green and enjoyed the programs organized by Alhamra under the supervision of E.D LAC Farhat Jabeen.
Alhamra prepared numerous programs for the festivities, including a Flag ceremony, walk, Painting competitions, and patriotic songs performances organized by Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts students and tree plantation.
