Adnan Khan won the Open Category single title while Abdul Wasay bagged the U-12 and U-14 Tennis League titles of the ITC Tennis League here at Islamabad Tennis Complex on Sunday.
A total of 30 players of different clubs have par-ticipated in the league and around 50 matches were played on round robin format. The league competi-tions were the one of the best formats to encourage grassroots tennis.
In Open Category (Men / Women Mix): Adnan Khan beat Muhammad Afaan by 6-4 and achieved first position while Muhammad Aafaan downed Sameer Kiyani by 6-3 and got second position while Sameer Kiyani defeated Sameer Inayat by 6-1 and took third place in the League matches.
In Under14 Matches: Abdul Wasay beat Orhan Sohaild 6-4; Orhan Sohail beat Murukh Sajjid 6-4; Marukh Sajjid beat Lala Rukh Sajjid 6-3.
In Under12 Matches: Abdul Wasay beat Orhan Sohail 6-4; Orhan beat Lalarukh 6-2; Lalarukh beat Marukh 6-4.—APP
