The Anti-Corruption Establishment Sargodha claimed on Saturday to have arrested Javed Iqbal Khichi former Superattendent District Jail Sargodha after the allegations of extortion of money, black mail and misuse of power against him and four others were proved in an enquiry.
A case against his four other accomplices including Deputy Superintendent of District Jail Sargodha Imran Butt was also registered in ACE Police Station Sargodha on same allegations and raids were being conducted to arrest the remaining culprits.
Reportedly, Aslam Naveed, ex Mayor Sargodha was arrested by ACE in FIR # 15/20 PS ACE Sargodha and was sent to Jail on Judicial custody on 18-11-2020.
During this judicial custody, the Superintendent Jail Javed Iqbal Khichi in collaboration with Deputy Superintendent , Imran Butt and others, exploited Aslam Naveed, Ex Mayor for extortion of Money and other benefits against illegal favours to the accused, like continuous stay in Jail Hospital instead of barracks, supply of food from home, special meetings with family and non family visitors and use of his personal official land line phone etc.
Javed Khichi, also got stamp paper signed by Aslam Naveed for sale of a plot in the name of one Yasin, brother of Shan Ali, a Jail employee serving Javed Khichi as his Ardali against a very low price.
Javed Iqbal Khichi and Imran Butt also Received Rs. 500000 from Aslam Naveed for vehicle and other personal requirements
. Imran Butt, Deputy Supt. Jail also received, Rs. 500000 for purchase of Pistol, from Aslam Naveed exploiting the situation he was in. He also received other gifts/ favours as bribe.
Both of the accused persons, plotted in connivance with others and were able to extort Rs. 6000000 from wife of Aslam Naveed in the name of a senior Officer of a Security Institution on an honorable constitutional position.
There were allegations of misuse of Authority along with these reports, which were being enquired when Home Deptt, GoP forwarded a reference with an initial probe report recommending legal Action against the accused persons.
The ACE Sargodha Region after a thorough enquiry, registered the subject case against Javed Khichi , Imran Butt, and three others under section 161/262, 419 PPC and 5 (2/47) PCA.
Earlier today Javed Khichi was arrested while raids are being conducted to arrest the remaing culprits at the earliest for investigation and submission of case to Leaned Courts for the sake of justice.
