In alignment with the National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC)’s mission, NAVTTC signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the TANG International Education Group of China. The collaboration aims to establish the China-Pakistan TVET-Industrial Center of Excellence (CPTICE).
The MoU was signed during a formal ceremony held in the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Islamabad, attended by dignitaries from both participants. The MoU was signed by Mr. Aamir Jan, Executive Director of NAVTTC, and Mr. Li Jinsong, President of TANG. Honorable Mr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister of Federal Education and Professional Training of Pakistan also witnessed the ceremony.
This initiative focuses on fostering cooperation in technical and vocational education, advancing digital learning, and introducing innovative industrial and academic integration programs.
The collaboration envisions a modern TVET system to empower Pakistan’s youth by promoting skill development, digital transformation, and international employability. The initiative also emphasizes cultural exchange, knowledge sharing, and vocational excellence, bringing together expertise from both Pakistan and China.
Mr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister of Federal Education and Professional Training of Pakistan also added, “Our focus is on developing innovative curricula and fostering cultural exchange to build a globally competitive workforce. This partnership will open new horizons for students and professionals in both countries.”
