ISLAMABAD – Gilgit-Baltistan top court has disqualified Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid Khan in the fake degree case.
A larger bench spearheaded by Justice Inayatur Rahman announced the verdict.
Meanwhile, opposition parties submitted a motion of no-confidence against Khalid Khurshid, in last-ditch effort to prevent any possible plans by the CM to dissolve the local legislature.
The no-confidence motion was filed by at least 9 opposition members who lamented current leadership and sought to maintain stability and integrity within the local assembly.
This is a developing story, and will be updated later…
