Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit (PRU) of the Lahore Police launched a vigorous crackdown on criminals and recovered 25 pistols, 03 pump action, 03 rifles, 26 magazine, 249 bullets and thousands of rupees from them.
SP Dolphins Squad Rashid Hadayat, while giving details of the weekly performance of both the wings informed that crime fighters of Dolphins Squad and PRU also recovered narcotics including 133 bottles of liquor from the accused criminals. Dolphins and PRU wings showed immediate response to the all 450 calls received on helpline 15.
While promoting Community Policing both Dolphins and PRU helped as many as 59 people on different roads of the city. Dolphin Squad and PRU during vigorous and effective patrolling in the city, checked 3383 vehicles, more than Rs152,000, motor bikes and 167084 persons. As many as 98 motor bikes, 01 vehicle and 242 persons were impounded in different Police Stations due to incomplete documents whereas disciplinary action was taken against responsible persons. As many as 01 car, 10 bikes, 09 mobile phones and thousands of rupees were recovered from the criminals during action. Dolphin Squad and PRU also arrested 39 criminals for violating One Wheeling, 04 in Kite Flying and 07 accused persons for violating Aerial Firing. Both Dolphin Squad and PRU also arrested 04 POs, 94 TOs and CAs during last week crackdown.
While promoting Community Policing both Dolphins and PRU helped as many as 59 people on different roads of the city.
