Deputy Commissioner Touqeer Ilyas Cheema said that seven sales points have been setup in the district for ensuring provision of subsidiary wheat flour in abundance and 5500 bags of 10 kg are being sold at theses sales points daily whereas 8673 bags of flour would be provided in the district. While giving details regarding provision of subsidiary flour, DC said that district administration and officers of food departments are monitoring sale of wheat flour on fixed prices in the district and bag of 10 kg flour available to people at the rate of Rs.648 per bag.
DC said that wheat flour was available in abundance however, in case of increase demand of the flour, more sales points would be setup in the district.
Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Hafizabad Rab Nawaz Chadhar visited different sales points in the city and review availability of flour to the people on control rates. He said that four sales points were established in city Hafizabad while one sale point established at Pindi Bhattian, Sukheki Mandi and Jalalpur Bhattian each.
