As many seven major health sector projects to be executed in Punjab have been included in the priorities in view of Corona.
The federation and Punjab will jointly launch projects costing more than Rs 50 billion in Punjab on priority basis. According to details, in view of Corona, the Punjab government has included health projects in its priorities. Seven major projects in the health sector will be launched in collaboration with the federation and Punjab. The Punjab government has approved projects worth Rs 50.32 billion. The summary has been sent to the federation for final approval. The federal government will pay Rs 30.56 billion for projects costing more than Rs 50 billion.
The program will be launched at a cost of Rs 90 billion. Out of Rs 9.90 billion required for Integrated Disease Control Program, Rs 4.95 billion will be paid by the federation, District Headquarters Hospital Chakwal will be completed at a cost of Rs 9.90 billion, 200-bed Mother and Child Hospital Attock, Rs5 billion. It will be completed at a cost of Rs870 million. The construction of 200-beded Mother and Child Hospital Rajanpur will cost at a cost of Rs8.55 billion.
The construction of 200-bed Mother and Child Hospital Layyah will cost Rs5.80 billion while the construction of 250-bed Mother and Child Hospital Sialkot will cost Rs5 billion.
All funds required for the projects will be paid by the federation, the Chief Minister said. All mega projects on the instructions of Punjab will be completed soon with special funding.
