The Chief Minister of the Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar has accorded approval of 54 new development projects with the cost of Rs.13.54 billion under Annual Development Programmee for ensuring provision of amenities of life to the people of district Hafizabad.
This was stated by the Deputy Director Development Hafizabad Hafiz Mubasher-ul-Hassan while talking to the journalists at Hafizabad on Tuesday.
He said that with hectic struggle of elected representatives of the district Hafizabad, Ch. Shoukat Ali Bhatti, MPAs Muhammad Mamoon Tarar and Ahsan Ansar Bhatti and officers of district administration, the government was approved Mega Development Package for the district Hafizabad.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister of the Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar was announced these projects during the visit of Hafizabad few month ago and now all promises were converted into reality.
Giving details of the approved projects, he said that funds for starting construction work on establishment of University of Hafizabad and construction of state of the art District Headquarter Hospital had been released by the government for fulfilling promise of the Chief Minister of the Punjab to develop backward and rural areas
Other approve projects are including construction of new girls colleges at Kolo Tarar and Keleki, construction of Trauma Centre at Pindi Bhattian, establishment of Mini Sports complex at Jalalpur Bhattian, establishment of cricket gourmands at Sukheki, Keleki and Kassoki, Tehsil Sports Complex Pindi Bhattian, construction of road from Kot Hara to Jalalpur Bhattian, he said and added that the Punjab government has included construction of carpet one way road from Aalam Chowk Gujranwala to Kot Sarwar Motorway Interchange in next fiscal year Annual Development Progamme.
With the completion of approved projects, better health, educational, communicational, recreational and municipal services will available to the masses and their living standard will improved, he further said.
Ch. Shoukat Ali Bhatti, MPAs Muhammad Mamoon Tarar and Ahsan Ansar Bhatti have thanked the Prime Minster Imran Khan and Chief Minister of the Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar to give Mega Development package to the people of Hafizabad for minimizing their sufferings which were a first development package in the history of Hafizabad in its nature.
