More than 500 US troops returned to bases in northeast Syria after President Donald Trump’s withdrawal decision earlier this month, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Monday.
The observatory said it witnessed the arrival of 85 vehicles carrying military equipment through the Al-Waleed border crossing.
The Sarin airport in Syria’s city of Kobani had also witnessed – in the past five days – the landing of multiple US planes.
