The police arrested 13 outlaws after recovery of illegal weapons and ammunition from their possession during separate actions in jurisdictions of different police stations of Rawalpindi.
According to details, operations against illegal weapons were conducted in limits of Nasirabad, Gunjmandi, Ratta Amral, Civil Lines, Taxila, Gujar Khan, Mandra, Jatli, Saddar Beroni and Dhamial police stations.
During operations, 13 outlaws including Aamir, Asif, Azizullah, Dost Muhammad, Kamran, Hamza, Waqas, Kashif, Zeeshan, Usman, Anas and Zafar were arrested with a Repeater 12 bore, 10 pistols 30 bore, ammunition and a sharp edged knife.
Separate cases against the detainees were registered at respective police stations and further investigations were in progress.
The police arrested five drug pushers and recovered 6.8 kilogram hashish during separate actions in jurisdiction of different police stations of Rawalpindi on Friday.
