Home appliances and lights were stolen from the residence of former finance minister Ishaq Dar in Gulberg, Lahore reportedly during its auctioning by the previous Buzdar government in 2020.It is learnt that the four-kanal and 17-Marla Hajveri House has completely been washed and cleaned with home appliances and lights are missing in it.

The administration, upon being inquired by the personal staff of Ishaq Dar, sprang into action as the officers were reportedly in search of a way to provide all those appliances at the house.

It is to be noted here that the Gulberg’s residence of former finance minister Ishaq Dar had been turned into a shelter home in 2020. The official bid for the 12-room house was set at Rs185 million.

However, not even a single citizen participated in the bidding for the house on January 28, 2020. Now, the administration has ended the shelter home status of the house.
