Inflation in Pakistan accelerated for a second straight month as the government jacked up energy costs and a weak currency stoked price gains. Amid the situation, telecom company Zong increased tariffs influenced by cost hikes.

With new changes in place, the Monthly Super Card price saw an increase of Rs100 and the new price costs Rs900 instead of Rs800.
Monthly Digital Max Offer costs same Rs1,500 while total calling minutes of Monthly Supreme has been slashed from 500 to 350 off-net minutes.
For weekly offers, Weekly Pro Plus package has been increased by Rs20 and new rate stands at Rs480. Price of Weekly Pro now stands at Rs460.
