Zewar-e-Taleem cash assistance for deserving school students is crucial for transforming lives in countries like Pakistan, and the Punjab government is taking the lead to empower students to take classes regularly.

As several government school students are facing hard times getting basic school education, programs like Zewar-e-Taleem Program improve access to education, cut dropout rates in region of over 125 people.

Zewar E Taleem Program October Cash Payment Update For Students

The cash distribution program has officially started a registration and stipend collection campaign for girl students in grades 6 to 10, starting October 10, 2024.

It is an initiative between PMIU School Education Department, Punjab Social Protection Authority, and Bank of Punjab that aims to enhance educational opportunities for girls in 16 districts across the country’s most populated region.

Attendance Mandatory

To qualify for a stipend, school students must maintain at least 80 percent attendance. To facilitate the registration process, over 200 schools have been designated as registration centers.

Bank of Punjab Representatives will be on-site to assist students and their families with the registration process, and for other steps.

Zewar-e-Taleem Program seeks to encourage families to prioritize the education of their daughters, contributing to improved literacy rates and educational outcomes in these underserved regions. As the campaign unfolds, stakeholders are optimistic about its potential impact on the educational landscape for girls in Punjab.
