Peshawar Zalmi Sunday thrashed Lahore Qalandars by 8 runs at the Gaddafi Stadium during the ongoing PSL season nine.
Qalandars’ Rassie van der Dussen smashed the first century of the PSL season nine but it was not enough to give his side the first win of the tournament.
The South African remained unbeaten on 105 off 52 balls in a chase of 212. This was Lahore’s fifth straight loss of the season while Zalmi registered back-to-back wins.
Earlier, Saim Ayub and Babar Azam propelled Peshawar Zalmi to a huge total of 211/4 against winless Lahore Qalandars in the 12th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 being played at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Put into bat first, Zalmi’s batting line dominated the depleted Qalandars’ bowling attack and racked up a massive total on the board, courtesy of a marathon opening stand.
