The government has announced the Zakat syllabus for the ongoing year. On the first day of Ramadan, the amount of Zakat will be deducted automatically on the amount of Rs88,927 or more.
After consultation with Religious Affairs, the SBP announced Zakat equal to the value of 52 tonnes of silver. Zakat will be deducted at the rate of two and a half percent from the customers who have Rs88,427 in the banks. NNI
