A 17-year-old boy committed suicide after getting low marks in the recent FSC examination in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday.
According to the police, the boy, Waliur Rehman, shot himself in the head at his home in Gundi Khanakhel area. Waliur’s family members found him lying dead in his room and informed them. The police reached the spot and shifted the body to the hospital for autopsy.
Waliur’s father, Khanakhel, told the police that his son had been depressed since the results of the FSC examination were announced.—INP
