Claims to have audio of former CJP Nisar in which he stated about his ouster for Imran Khan

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif urged imprisoned PTI founder Imran Khan to adopt humility and avoid making exaggerated claims.

During a ceremony for the “ApnaGharApni Chat” Scheme, Nawaz Sharif addressed Imran Khan, saying that, “You reap what you sow.” His comments came as PTI activists continued their anti-government demonstrations across Punjab.

Without directly naming PTI, Nawaz criticized the ruling party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for lacking interest in the province’s development. The PML-N president remarked, “They come to Punjab with tear gas shells,” alluding to the PTI protests.

Nawaz questioned the PTI’s fulfillment of its promises, stating, “Their performance is zero, and they protest whenever possible.” He suggested that such actions should be met with strict measures.

The former prime minister expressed disappointment towards his own supporters for not voicing opposition to his removal from power in 2017. He remarked, “You never asked why so many positive projects were taking place while Nawaz Sharif  was being ousted,” emphasizing that proud nations speak out against injustice.

Highlighting unfulfilled projects, he inquired, “Where is the Billion Tree initiative? Where are the dams? They promised to build five million houses but haven’t delivered a single one.” He accused the PTI of fostering “violence and protest politics.”

Reflecting on his own government’s achievements, he stated that his administration developed a vast network of motorways and metro services, eradicated terrorism, established Pakistan as a nuclear power, resolved the energy crisis, and stabilized the currency.

He added, “We even bid farewell to the IMF, but our opponents brought it back,” lamenting that if his government’s momentum had continued, Pakistan would have garnered global admiration for its progress.

Nawaz challenged anyone to name another party that has accomplished as much development as the PML-N. He expressed regret over his oustings, stating they significantly hindered the country’s growth and lamented that he was not allowed to complete any of his terms in office.
