A female robber equipped with pistol and ammunition was nabbed and handed over to Police in a robbery incident in busy jeweler market in Hazro on Wednesday.
Police sources told that Dilshad Bibi a native of village Malikmala sold her gold ornaments at a jewelry shop and was going back to her home when a masked woman later identified Hareem took out her pistol and tried to rob her on gun-point, however woman voice alarm and nearby people overpowered the lady and later handed over to Police with weapon.
Police believes that the woman is the member of the gang active in the area in robberies.
It may be mentioned here that the jeweler dealers in district Attock become hostage in the hands of ruthless robbers as three jewelers were looted in day broad light robberies incident depriving them from gold ornaments worth millions of rupees and despite staging protest demonstration and sit in outside police station and district Police officer, no single culprit was nabbed by Police.
Meanwhile, Bassal Police raided at a gambling den and arrested five persons while gambling. Bet money and gambling tools were also confiscated during the raid.
Moreover Jand Police arrested a proclaimed offender identified as Muhammad Aamir wanted by police since long.
