WEWS seminar on women’s rights

Waziristan Educational Welfare Society (WEWS) arranged a seminar on ‘Da Khor Barkha’ ie Shari, legal and Inheritance Rights of Women in Society at Scouts Camp AC Wana Jirga Hall. Which police officers, scholars, lawyers, local leaders of political parties and people from different fields participated in large numbers.

DSP Iqbal Baloch was the chief guest of the program, District Youth Officer Sardar Ali Wazir, TMA Officer Hasan Wazir were also present on the occasion.

At the beginning of the program, acting chairman of Waziristan Educational Welfare Society (WEWS), Jamshed Wazir, highlighted the aims and objectives of the seminar in detail and thanked the guests.

Addressing the seminar, Chief Guest DSP Iqbal Baloch said that it is a fact that change in the society comes from the members, scholars should continuously discuss the inheritance rights of women with the members. He said that after the merger new system has come in the tribal districts, due to which some problems have arisen.
