The University of Okara’s Institute of Pure & Applied Zoology, in collaboration with Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department, organized a webinar on the ‘Evolutionary History of Wolves in South Asia and their Conservation Strategies’ where Lauren Mae Hennelly from University of California delivered a detailed online lecture on the evolutionary distinctiveness of wolf species of Pakistan.
The event was moderated by Dr Hira Fatima from the IPAZ. In the inaugural session of the webinar, Prof Dr Muhammad Wajid, Chairman IPAZ, thanked the UO’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Muhammad Zakria Zakar, and Secretary Wildlife Punjab for their support for the event.
