PESHAWAR – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather for Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday evening/night and the next two days.
As per the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave prevails over most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, cold and partly cloudy weather is likely in Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday evening/night. Freezing weather is likely in upper districts.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, cold and dry weather is likely in Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Extremely cold weather is likely in upper districts.
Peshawar’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 03-05 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 02-04 C on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, cold and partly cloudy weather prevailed in Peshawar and most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours. Freezing weather prevailed in upper districts.
Kalam remained the coldest place in the province where temperature dropped 08 C below freezing.
In Peshawar, minimum temperature was recorded at 04 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded 84 per cent.
