ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly cold and dry weather for most parts of Pakistan including the twin cities during the next two days.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected In Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan on Monday evening/night and the next two days.
Smog/fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh during morning and night hours.
In Islamabad, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 04-06 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 03-05 C on Wednesday.
In Rawalpindi, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 08-10 C on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country and partly cloudy/cold in upper parts during the last 24 hours.
Leh remained the coldest place in the country where mercury dropped 09 C below the freezing point.
In Islamabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 04 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 93 per cent.
In Rawalpindi, minimum temperature was recorded at 08 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 82 per cent.
