Water theft from 54-inch line unearthed in Sukhan

Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation along with Pakistan Rangers  and Sindh Police, the theft of water was unearthed and blocked by taking a big action،According to Water Corporation officials, the operation was conducted on the directives of Chief Executive Officer Water Corporation Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed Water Corporation officials said that thousands of gallons of water were being stolen on daily basis from the 54 inch water line in Sukhan police station, theft of water was being done through six four inch pipes.

KWSC Officials said that the theft of water was being done for an established RO plant nearby, while the staff of the Water Corporation seized the pipes and motorcycles and the action is on to register a case, on this occasion, CEO Water Corporation Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that water thieves will not be spared under any circumstances because only citizens have the right to water.
