In the light of the instructions of District Police Officer South Waziristan Lower Farman Ullah (PPM) strict action against tinted glasses has been started. In the light of DPO’s orders, under the leadership of DSP Wana Circle Amin Khan, police checked the vehicles across the district and cleaned the tinted glasses of the different vehicles.

Moreover, the regular names of the drivers were noted down and a warning was given that if the vehicle’s glasses were found to be black again, strict legal action would be taken against the concerned driver.

The DPO directed the police officers to intensify the campaign against black glasses and increase police patrolling in the area. DPO Farman Ullah appealed to all sections including Local elders and civil society to support the police to make this campaign successful. The DPO vowed that Lower South Waziristan will be made a cradle of peace with the support of the local people so that people can lead a prosperous and peaceful life. On the other hand, the political and social circles appreciated and paid tribute to the campaign of cleaning black.
