Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for commerce, Industries and Crafts and Technical Education Dr. Aamir Abdullah visited South Waziristan Lower on Thursday.
During his one-day visit, the caretaker minister attended a grand jirga of tribal elders, elected representatives and youth at district headquarters Wana as chief guest. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nasir Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kashmir Khan, District Police Officer Farmanullah and heads of all line departments participated in the Jirga. On this occasion, the officials of the district administration and the police department gave a detailed briefing to the supervising provincial minister regarding the status of development projects in Lower South Waziristan district, government measures to solve public problems and other related issues including law and order.—Adam Khan Wazir
