Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Senator Sirajul has said that the inflation, unemployment and poverty have become the trademarks of the PTI government which proved itself worst than the previous regimes.
Addressing a ceremony in Qurtaba City here on Tuesday, he said the present and former rulers only destroyed the economy and institutions and gifted the masses with inflation and unemployment.
Siraj said that the PTI government proved itself even worse than the previous regimes but the prime minister was still making tall claims about the performance of his government.
In fact, he said, the present government had nothing on its credit in two and half year but it had long list of failures from surrender on Kashmir to complete destruction of economy.
The PTI, he said, badly exposed before the masses who were no more ready to listen to the claims of the prime minister.
The JI Chief said the interest based economy was the root of all evil and main reason behind the inflation and unemployment. The country, he said, was freed to make it laboratory of Islam but the agents of the western powers tried best in past 73 year to damage its Islamic identity. The ruling elite, he said, looted the resources of the country and served their self interests.
The JI, Siraj said, had launched a full-fledged campaign against the anti-people policies of the rulers and it was holding a mass rally in Gujranwala on December 25 in continuation of its movement.
He said the PTI and the PDM were sides of the same coin and masses were no more ready to trust on th-
em.
He said the JI believed in green and clean Pakistan and it was struggling to transform the country into real Islamic welfare state. If voted to power, he said, the JI would put the country on the path of development.
