The University of Management and Technology (UMT) observed the third death anniversary of renowned educationist, scholar and founder of ILM Trust/UMT, Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad who was martyred in a traffic accident on September 10, 2018.
Quran khawani was held and prayer was offered Nasiha Mosque of the UMT, which was attended by a large number of people from different walks of life.
On the occasion, UMT President Ibrahim Hasan Murad, DG Abid HK Sherwani, Rector Dr Muhammad Aslam, Registrar Saleem Ata along with staff, faculty, students and people from different walks of life were present.
The ILM/UMT president paid glowing tribute to the founder of ILM/UMT and his father Dr Hasan Murad.
He said that separation from a father like Dr Hasan is unbearable. He was a very visionary man who was also a teacher and preacher at one time.
