LAHORE – The University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Thursday approved the MPhil/PhD Committee’s recommendation to revise the eligibility criteria for admission to MPhil and Master degree programs.

Under the new criteria, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 75 per cent in the University’s Postgraduate Entrance Test to be eligible for admission. Previously, the requirement was 50 per cent. Additionally, the board waived the requirement of a minimum of two years of relevant experience for admission. Now, fresh graduates are eligible to apply for MPhil and Master’s degree programs at UHS.

The decision was taken at the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) meeting chaired by UHS Vice Chancellor Prof. Ahsan Waheed Rathore.

The board considered 45 reports on thesis submitted by the students and also approved panel of examinations for thesis in different specialties.
