The medical fitness test is necessary for UAE citizens and expatriates, including Pakistan nationals, in order to complete the visa procedure at General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai.
Pre-employment screening is conducted before hiring an employee. The screening is undertaken to ensure a job applicant has no preexisting health conditions that may affect his or her performance on the job, making it difficult or unsafe. Pre-employment screening may also include residency visa screening.
Procedure for Pre-Employment Medical test
Register in the digital-services, create user name and password (If not yet registered), and login
Complete the electronic medical history on the EHS’s (Emirates Health Services) portal
Make an appointment at the primary health care centers of the Emirates Health Services through the patient portal or contact the nearest primary health care center
Proceed to the appointment with the required documents (ID/ Passport)
An SMS message will be sent stating the completion of the transaction and the issuance of the certificate
Collect certificate through your account in EHS portal
Medical Test Fee
It is free for federal and governmental authorities while for the semi-government entities the fee for UAE citizens and all other nationalities is 250 dirhams.
The fee for those wishing to joint private entities stands at 250 dirhams. This service in only available to the UAE citizens and people from other nationalities will undertake test at other palces.
