United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consul General BakheetAteeq Al-Remeithi visited the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Wednesday, engaging with local business leaders to discuss new initiatives aimed at enhancing bilateral trade. During the meeting, Al-Remeithi announced that the UAE has introduced a zero-bureaucracy policy to streamline business operations for Pakistani entrepreneurs.
This new system eliminates the need for agents, allowing traders to register their businesses online. Additionally, a new online portal has been launched to further facilitate business transactions and positively impact the economy. Al-Remeithi highlighted the historical ties between Pakistan and the UAE, noting that Pakistan’s support has been crucial to the UAE’s development over the past fifty years.
He pointed out significant opportunities in Pakistan’s food sector that could benefit UAE investors. The business community in Karachi welcomed these reforms, expressing appreciation for the UAE’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment. They anticipate that these measures will not only aid in business expansion but also support new entrepreneurs.
