Two robbers were killed while their two accomplices managed to escape after a police encounter, spokesman of police said on Monday.
He said that armed robbers were engaged in looted cattle, cash and other valuables from cattle breeder Ashraf in suburban village Pul Kharal Kalan of Okara when police reached the scene.
An exchange of fire took place in which two robbers were killed while their two accomplices managed to flee from the scene.
The bodies of killed robbers were shifted to mortuary of local hospital where their identity was yet to be ascertained.—INP
