Two persons were killed on Sunday over an online money transaction dispute in Bhatti Gate area of the City.
According to a private TV channel, the deceased persons were identified as: Zalmay Khan and Wilayat Khan who were relatives.
According to police, Zalmay had a dispute with Wilayat over an online money transaction of a cellphone. He along with his son Amir Khan broke into the house of Zalmay and killed him.
After the murder, both the accused run away. To get revenge for the murder, Wilayat’s brother Dada Baig Khan followed and killed Zalmay near Band Road.
According to locals, the accused involved in the incident were close relatives and have a dispute over the money transaction of a mobile phone.
DSP Hafiz Majid told the media that the police have arrested both the accused Amir Khan and Dada Baig and recovered the weapon used in the crime. The bodies have been shifted to the morgue for autopsy.
