Toyota announces to discontinue THIS Yaris model in Pakistan; Details Inside

ISLAMABAD – Toyota Yaris continues to stay in Pakistani auto market. During the previous year, the sedan outsold other Toyota models in Pakistan but recently sales of Yaris models saw a slight drop along with other models.

The drop in sales and, abrupt change in market trends forced Toyota to discontinue a famous model of Yaris that according to the Japanese automaker ‘no longer fit in local market’.

In a notification, Indus Motor Company IMC makes the official announcement about the discontinuation of Toyota Yaris. The company decided to end production of Toyota Yaris 1.3 CVT AERO from mid-March.

IMC notified that allocation for Yaris 1.3 CVT AERO has expired in allocation system. It also notified dealerships to update price lists and notify their sales teams accordingly.

Yaris AERO featured several exterior features including a stylish front bumper extension, side skirts, bumper extension with black inlay, and a smart rear trunk spoiler.

Toyota and other models are also facing difficulties in production, and in recent times, Indus Motos announced week-long production shutdown in wake of low inventory of auto parts and supply chain disruptions.
