ISLAMABAD- People in Pakistan will enjoy prolonged Eid ul Adha Holidays this year despite announcement of only three holidays.

A summary has surfaced online, showing a three-day holiday for Eid ul Adha from June 17 to 19, as nation of over 240 million is gearing up for Feast Festival.

The holiday announcement follows sighting of the Zil Hajj moon on June 7, as Pakistan will celebrate Eid ul Adha on June 17. Eid ul Adha, which occurs on the 10th day of Zil Hajj, coincides with the Hajj pilgrimage.

Ahead of Eid, cattle markets have been established in various locations for people to buy cows, goats, sheep, and camels for sacrifice.
