The Punjab government has issued tenders for the construction of eight 41km long roads in PP-253 Ahmedpur East, which would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs660 million.
This was stated by PTI MPA Sahibzada Muhammad Gazain Abbasi while talking to this scribe here.
He informed that Director Bridges Punjab along with his team visited the proposed site of the flyover on railway gate Islamapura, Ahmedpur East for which Rs770 million have been allocated on his request.
Sahibzada Gazain Abbasi further stated that Director Bridges Punjab will make the design of the proposed flyover in a short span of time.
PTI MPA thanked Chief Minister Usman Buzdar for the allocation of funds for the uplift of his constituency.
He paid tributes to both Premier Imran Khan and Chief Minister for allocation of 34 percent development budget of the Punjab province for South Punjab.
Gazain Abbasi regretted that South Punjab’s funds were spent on other cities and the people of south Punjab were deceived in the name of development in the previous PM-N government.
