NEW YORK – The fans are quite eager for Pakistan and India match during the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in the United States and West Indies.

However, the high ticket prices for the Pakistan and India matches may dis-heart the fans this time.

Due to start on June 1 across the Atlantic in the US and the West Indies, the marquee T20 tournament will see both Pakistan and India facing off in Group A on June 9.

CRICKET PRICES FOR PAKISTAN, INDIA FIXTURES

Former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi accused the ICC of inflating ticket prices to $20,000, alleging exploitation of cricket fans under the guise of promoting the sport in the USA.

He took to the social media and revealed that Diamond Club tickets were priced at $20,000 (approximately Rs5.6 million), while regular stand tickets were marked at $2,750 (around Rs0.76 million).

Lalit Modi also criticized the exploitation of cricket enthusiasts, emphasizing that while the T20 World Cup in the USA aimed to promote the sport and engage with fans, profiteering from ticket sales was unjustifiable.
