PESHAWAR – A strong earthquake jolted Swat, Mardan, Shangla and nearby regions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) said an earthquake of magnitude 5 on the Richter scale sent tremors in several parts of KP, but there have been no reports of damage or casualties so far.
The quake, which struck at a depth of 104 km, had its epicenter in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
