LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) removed temporary and permanent encroachments from different parts of Lahore on Friday.
LDA teams removed temporary encroachments, ramps and sheds from Multan Road to Kharak Road, Main Boulevard Sabzazar and Marghazar Colony. LDA teams removed temporary settlements from Civic Centre Sabzazar, retrieving government land worth tens of millions of rupees.
Director Town Planning-IV Yawar Virk supervised the operations carried out by the enforcement teams with the help of Police and heavy machinery.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
