The month of Ramadan has brought with it well wishes for billions of Muslims around the globe from all sports communities.
Football clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and FC Barcelona were among the many who expressed their felicitations after the advent of the holy month.
In a video shared by PSG’s Twitter account, some of the biggest names in the footballing world are seen congratulating their Muslim supporters with Neymar, Kylian Mabppe and Sergio Ramos just to name a few.
Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays in Saudi Arabia, also sent well wishes for Ramadan.
Ronaldo also recently celebrated Saudi Arabia’s founding day, showcasing his affinity for Islamic culture.

Sports have played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Muslim communities and the rest of the world and the Ramadan wishes from some of the biggest footballing clubs in the world are another proof of its success.
Chelsea and Brighton, the two Premier League clubs, have already announced that they will hold Iftar at their respective stadiums this month to further the sense of trust between Muslims and the sports bodies.
Premier League also announced that it will observe a break in play during Ramadan to help Muslim players break their fast during matches.
