ISLAMABAD – Spain offers an enchanting blend of the bustling streets of Barcelona and historic charm of Seville, making it one of the popular tourists destinations in the European Union.

Pakistani nationals, who can afford the trip and meet the requirements, can pick Spain as their next destination for tourism. However, the Pakistan citizens  are required to obtain the short-term Schengen visa to explore Spain as a tourist.

Spain issues visit visa to the applicants who fulfill the requirements, including bank statement. The applicant must have minimum bank balance equal to 3000 euros if his/her stay is no longer than 30 days.

Documents Required for Schengen Visit Visa

Each applicant must complete and sign an official application form, filling in each of its sections. If the applicant is a minor, one of their parents must sign the application.

Valid passport or travel document

Documents accrediting the purpose and conditions of the planned stay

Return or tourist circuit ticket, in all cases.

For tourist or private visits, the confirmed reservation of an organized trip, or proof of accommodation, or letter of invitation from a private individual

Travel medical insurance with coverage of at least €30,000 or its equivalent in local currency.

Minimum Bank Balance for Spain Visit Visa

The travellers are required to show the evidence that they have sufficient funds to finance their stay in Spain.  The minimum amount required is 100 euros per person per day. Additionally, the visit visa holder must have at least 810 euros or its equivalent in foreign currency.

As of November 16, 2024, one euro is equal to Rs290.85. It means you need to have around Rs872,550+235,588 in your bank account if your stay is for 30 days in Spain.
