PESHAWARA shootout between the security forces and the terrorists during an Intelligence Based Operation in North Waziristan tribal district Tuesday led to the martyrdom of a soldier. Two terrorists were also reportedly mowed down by the troops. According military sources, security forces spotted movement of terrorists in Dargai, some 8kms northwest of Datta Khel, North Waziristan. As Quick Reaction Force cordoned off the area but terrorists in an attempt to flee, opened fire on the forces. During the exchange of fire a soldier embraced Shahadat while two terrorists were killed. The martyred soldier was identified as Lance Naik Irshad Khan, 26, resident of Jamrud, Khyber Tribal district. The security forces are reported to kick off search and net operation after the incident to trace out the miscreants
