The Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) on Friday performed eight cases of suspected coronavirus at its diagnostic laboratory. The diagnostic kit was handed over by the Sindh Government to SIUT on Wednesday.
According to details given in the press release the SIUT spokesperson said out of eight cases two cases had travel history as they had travelled from London and Singapore. The remain six cases had no travel history but they were carrying high symptoms of the disease.
The results of all the cases were in process.
The testing facilities being provided at SIUT is free and round the clock. Meanwhile the isolation ward and screening facilities already functioning at the Institute.
SIUT has always been in forefront in the hour of distress and need of the nation. May it be any natural calamity including floods, earthquakes.
