In a recent development, Sindh’s Provincial Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Antiquities, Syed Zulfqar Ali Shah, highlighted the province’s rich cultural and traditional heritage, dating back five thousand years. Minister Shah emphasized that Sindh has been a bastion of cultural diversity, perpetually conveying messages of love, affection, and peace.

The positive impact of international tourists and archaeological experts visiting Sindh was underscored by Minister Shah, who pointed to the recent visit of a 37-member Spanish delegation led by Professor Khayyam from Madrid’s Complutense University. The delegation was warmly welcomed and received by local authorities, indicating the province’s eagerness to share its cultural wealth with the world.

During the visit, which included stops at iconic landmarks such as Hala, KotDiji Fort, and Bhutto Shah, Minister Shah advocated for the reopening of MohenjoDaro airport. He stressed that reopening the airport would facilitate easier access for tourists to explore the various historical sites scattered across Sindh.

Minister Shah took the opportunity to dispel stereotypes associating Sindh with a dacoit culture, instead emphasizing the province’s dedication to promoting peace and brotherhood. He reiterated Sindh’s commitment to showcasing its cultural treasures.
