Abdul Jabbar Khan, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh for Food, conducted an emergency visit to Hyderabad to oversee wheat procurement processes. Speaking to the media, he emphasized that on the direct instructions of Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, urgent measures are being implemented to ensure transparency in wheat purchases.
Responding to a question, Abdul Jabbar Khan highlighted the importance of the Indus River for Sindh’s survival. He firmly stated, “The robbery on the Indus River is unacceptable.”
He reiterated that the Sindh Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution opposing amendments to the IRSA Act, ensuring that no canal can be drawn from the Indus River without the consent of the province’s people and its legislative body.
