MPA ps 78 Ghorabari and close aide to Asif Ali Zardari, Mr Haji Ali Hassan Zardari has said that 350 billion rupees have been earmarked by Sindh government for rehabilitation work of Sindh out of which 200 billions will be utilized by irrigation department 50 billions by public health engineering department, 100 billions to be utilized by Highway department to re-construct or repair the infrastructure which suffered damages during the last devastating rains and floods.
He said this while talking to media men in Zamin house Ghorabari here on the other day. Haji said, Pakistan has received relief package from China, Saudi Arabia, America and other countries so inshallah Allah the country will be steered out of the present crisis.
He said 1.8 million houses surveyed, have suffered damages in sindh and sindh goverment has announced to distribute 0.3 million rupees to each family for the damages, He said said goverment has decided to boost agriculture sector that has suffered colossal losses due the rains therefore growers will be given seeds and other facilities to stand on their own feet.
While talking to candidates who had been secured Marks in IBA test, for job of JEST ,he said all the candidates of Thatta who secured 33 to 39 Marks in last test will be given orders after competition of running training.
PPP district Thatta vice president Abdul Hameed Panhwar, Sher Khan Chandio, Peer sikandar Shah, officials of district and PPP wokers were on the occasion.
Meanwhile ,The provincial government is ensuring the massive supply of ration on daily basis and as many as 420,189 families have been provided with ration bags thus far.
Apart from this, cooked food is being delivered to all relief camps and tent cities. The entire machinery of the government is trying to help the flood victims as much as possible, the minister added.
