Sindh Governor pay tribute at Quaid’s mausoleum

On Independence Day, Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, alongside Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and provincial cabinet members, visited Quaid-e-Azam’s Mausoleum. They laid a floral wreath and offered special prayers for the country’s progress and prosperity. The Governor also conducted the flag-hoisting ceremony at the mausoleum and penned his thoughts in the guestbook. Speaking to the media, Governor Tessori reaffirmed the commitment to advancing Pakistan’s development and prosperity.

He celebrated ArshadNadeem’s Olympic gold medal victory, noting that it has doubled the joy of Independence Day and showcased national unity. Tessori paid tribute to the armed forces, Rangers, police, and other law enforcement agencies for their dedication and sacrifices. Looking ahead, Tessoriexpressed confidence in Pakistan’s economic future, highlighting the significant role of the Sustainable Investment and Finance Corporation (SIFC) in driving economic stability.

He invited the public to join the Independence Day celebrations at the Governor House, where the national anthem will be sung, and performances by renowned artist AtifAslam and other performers are scheduled.

Olympic gold medalist ArshadNadeem will also attend. Governor Tessori concluded his day by meeting with diplomats and civil society members. School children performed the patriotic song “JeevayJeevay Pakistan,” creating a lively atmosphere. Tessori praised the children’s performance and enjoyed interacting with them, taking selfies and celebrating the national spirit.
