KARACHI – Sindh government announced Ramzan 2024 package for the need people of province, and those underprivileged will get Rs5000 cash in the Holy Month.
The provincial government decided to pass on relief for inflation-hit people as prices of basic commodities are touching the roof.
To pass on the relief, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah introduced Sindh 5000 Ramzan Relief Scheme. to assist the economically disadvantaged segments of society in the region.
Sindh Rs5000 Ramzan Cash
Under this initiative, citizens those earning less than Rs5000 will earn minimum wage. The support is aimed to help 3.5 million households with minimum monthly income of Rs 32,000. Additionally, the Sindh Zakat Department will provide Rs14,000 to 110,000 impoverished families.
The provincial government is also taking measures to address inflation and ensure the affordability of essential goods, as CM Shah and other officials called for a crackdown on hoarders and profiteers across the province. District administrations have been tasked with enforcing government-mandated prices for essential items to ensure fair prices for consumers.
Who can get Rs5000 in Sindh
Citizens earning the minimum wage and belonging to 60 percent of the province’s population are eligible for cash assistance under the Sindh 5000 Ramzan Relief Scheme.
Ramzan Relief scheme aims to benefit 3.5 million households with a minimum monthly income of Rs 32,000.
